Refund & Returns Policy

At COPRASIA, we stand behind the quality and authenticity of every handcrafted item we sell. This policy outlines our terms for returns, exchanges, and refunds — designed to be simple, fair, and hassle-free.

  • Unused, undamaged products in original condition
  • Items with original packaging intact
  • Products returned within 2-3 days of delivery
  • Items not specified as non-returnable

  • Custom or personalized items (unless defective)
  • Used or damaged products due to misuse
  • Items without unboxing video proof
  • Products beyond the 3-day return window
  • Items missing original packaging
  • Sale or clearance items (check product page)
Condition Requirements
  • Unused — no signs of use or wear
  • Undamaged — free from scratches, dents, or discoloration not present upon receipt
  • Complete — all components, accessories, and documentation included
  • Original packaging intact or equivalent protective packaging

Return Process — Step by Step

Document the Purchase (Unboxing Video)

An unboxing video is mandatory for all return claims. Record from opening the package to inspecting the item — clearly show product condition, packaging, and any damage. Keep the video for at least 30 days after purchase.

Notify Us Within 2 Days

Email sales@coprasia.com or call +91 74172-45543 with your order number, product name, reason for return, unboxing video, photos of any damage, and your preferred resolution (refund or exchange).

Get Return Authorization

Our team reviews your request within 24–48 business hours. If approved, you receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN), return address, and shipping instructions.

Ship the Item Back

Package securely with original materials, include the RAN in the package, and use a tracked shipping method. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or we made an error.

Inspection & Approval

Once received, we inspect the item within 5–7 business days, verify condition against your documentation, and update you on the status via email.

Refund or Exchange Processed

Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days to your original payment method. Exchanges are shipped within 2-3 business days with a tracking number.

Damaged or Defective Items

What's Considered "Defective"?
  • Manufacturing defects — cracks, casting issues, poor finish
  • Missing components or damaged parts
  • Structural damage affecting functionality
  • Discoloration or oxidation beyond normal use
  • Poor craftsmanship inconsistent with COPRASIA standards
What's Considered "Damaged in Transit"?
  • Items broken during shipping
  • Crushed or dented packaging causing product damage
  • Missing pieces due to shipping negligence
  • Water damage or moisture exposure
For defective items — email sales@coprasia.com with subject "Damaged/Defective Item – Order #[Your Order Number]" within 2-3 days. We provide free return shipping, full refund or replacement, and priority processing within 24 hours of receiving the item. No questions asked.

Non-Defective Returns

If you are returning an item that is not defective but simply doesn't meet your expectations, the following deductions apply:

Refund Calculation Example

Product Price: ₹500

Original Shipping Paid: ₹50 (non-refundable)

Return Shipping Cost: ₹80 (your responsibility)

Refund Amount: ₹500 – ₹80 = ₹420

  • 100% of the product price is refunded
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility

  • Credit / Debit Card — refund appears on statement within 5–7 days
  • Net Banking — refund appears within 3–5 days
  • Digital Wallets — credited to wallet within 2–3 days
  • COD — refund via bank transfer (provide bank details when initiating return)

Exchange Policy

Exchange Eligibility
  • Item must be unused, undamaged, and in original condition
  • Exchange must be requested within 3 days of delivery
  • Original packaging must be intact
  • Unboxing video required

Cheaper Item

Exchanging for a lower-priced item — the price difference is refunded to your original payment method.

Pricier Item

Exchanging for a higher-priced item — you pay the price difference plus any additional shipping if applicable.

Same Price

No additional charges. Replacement shipped within 5–7 days of receiving and inspecting your return.

What Happens to Returned Items?

Inspection

Each returned item is thoroughly inspected and assessed for resale, repair, or refund eligibility.

Resale

Gently-used returned items may be resold as clearly labelled "Pre-Inspected" stock — never misrepresented.

Donation

Unsalable items in good condition are donated to cultural institutions rather than discarded.

Recycling

Materials are recycled responsibly. We never discard quality items wastefully.

Common Issues & Solutions

Order Arrived Late

Contact us if delivery exceeds 10 business days. We may offer a partial refund or replacement. Provide tracking number and proof of delay.

Order Arrived Incomplete

Report missing items within 2 days with photos. We ship missing items immediately or provide a refund. No return necessary.

Item Doesn't Match Description

Eligible for return within 2-3 days. Provide photos and a clear explanation. No unboxing video required for clear description mismatches.

Item Damaged by Courier

Report immediately with photos of damage and packaging. We arrange free return and provide a replacement or full refund. We handle courier claims on your behalf.
